VIDEO: Plan made for water-starved in Grahamstown

Water shortages in Grahamstown, South Africa during August 2014 sparked fury amongst many in Grahamstown. A lack of water, however, is a reality that many in Grahamstown face on a daily basis. Water for Dignity in conjunction with the Institute for Water Research housed in Rhodes University are in the process of providing a plan for residents through a new initiative One Street One tank. In the video, project leader Mbulelo Lipile talks me through the initiative, and we go on site to see what the plan exactly is in these early stages. The initiative is said to be in full flow from mid-September.
